Universal Plataformas Aéreas has added self-levelling technology on tracks to its fleet of hire platforms, incorporating two state-of-the-art machines: a 16-metre dual-energy telescopic boom on tracks (model JIBBI 1670 EVO) and a 10-metre dual-energy scissor lift on tracks (model BIBBI 1090 BL EVO). These machines are designed to allow operators to work with complete stability and safety on uneven ground, steep slopes and in confined spaces without wasting time on set-up.
The innovation of the self-levelling chassis
The main competitive advantage of this new range of machinery lies in its exclusive chassis, fitted with an automatic and dynamic self-levelling system. This technology is capable of keeping the work platform perfectly horizontal whilst working on steep slopes, without the need for traditional stabilisers. The implementation of this system delivers three key benefits for any construction site:
- Time savings: There is a significant reduction in the time taken to set up and position the equipment on site.
- Maximum safety: Its dynamic and proactive levelling automatically compensates for uneven ground.
- Traction and versatility: The tracked traction system effectively overcomes the limitations of traditional 4×4 systems.
Technical details of the new additions
These two dual-energy platforms are now available to our customers, catering to a range of height and capacity requirements:
- 16-metre telescopic boom on tracks (JIBBI 1670 EVO): This machine reaches a working height of 16 metres and offers a horizontal reach of 8.5 metres. It has a load capacity of 230 kg, making it suitable for two people plus materials. It also features an adjustable track system (between 1.35 m and 2.45 m) for narrow access points and can negotiate gradients of up to 15°–22°.
- 10-metre tracked scissor lift (BIBBI 1090 BL EVO): It offers a working height of 10 metres and a load capacity of 300 kg. It stands out for its integrated dual automatic levelling system, which withstands inclines of up to 20°.
Platforms that will make a difference to your projects
The technology in this equipment is particularly well-suited to optimising costs and time in demanding environments, such as:
- Work on ramps and steeply sloping surfaces.
- Maintenance work in sports halls and on mezzanine floors.
- Safe operation on grass or delicate surfaces.
- Construction projects, infrastructure development and industrial maintenance.
